Our major focus for handicaping is to concentrate on trip handicapping, by doing this we basically assess the merit associated to every horses past performances through use of watching replays of each race run. It is a proven fact that the added tool of video analysis is paramount to success. Once a horse has been identified as having merit it is then highlighted as a potential future selection. We then go through all upcoming entries to find out when those highlighted runners are engaged to next race. By looking at the potential class of opposition and pace scenarios we can gauge very quickly wether the horse in question is suitable under the prescribed race conditions. The process we use for working out pace scenarios or speed mapping is one of the key secrets to successful punting. It is so often the case that class does not infact prevail in horse racing under all situations. An old saying becomes relevant here, "Pace wins the race". Traditional weights and measures handicapping is also used by us but the edge one can get over the general betting public through this method has diminished somewhat with so many form students now being advocates of traditional weights and measures handicapping.
